This site is an independent comparison of dog dental chews. Each line is checked against the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) accepted list and the manufacturer's own pages for dog weight, size and calories per chew. We run no tests on dogs, show no Amazon prices or ratings, and earn a commission if you buy through our Amazon links.

What this site is and how it works
Many pages about dental chews copy retailer star ratings and prices that change by the hour. We take a different route. For every line we cover, the VOHC list comes first, because it is the one independent standard for plaque and tartar claims on dog products. A brand is not "VOHC-accepted"; only the named product line in a row is. Then the manufacturer's own page supplies the dog weight range of each size, the feeding guideline, the ingredients and the calories per chew. When a maker does not publish a value, the page says so instead of guessing from another size or another product.
We do not buy, test or taste chews, so we make no claim about how well a chew cleans a particular dog's teeth. Anything about your dog's mouth, weight or health is a question for your veterinarian.
