Short answer
DentalDogTreats.com is an informational site, not veterinary advice. Use it at your own risk, check anything important with your veterinarian and with the manufacturer, and remember that purchases made through our links happen on Amazon, under Amazon's terms. The site is provided as is, to the extent the law allows.
Acceptance of these terms
By using DentalDogTreats.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site has no user accounts, no comments and no forms that store data, so these terms cover reading the pages, using the tools and following our links.
What this site is and is not
DentalDogTreats.com is an independent editorial site run by the DentalDogTreats editorial team. We compile data published by manufacturers and the VOHC accepted list. We do not test products. There is no veterinarian on our team. Everything here is general information, not veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your veterinarian about your dog's teeth, diet and chews. In an emergency, such as choking, a blocked throat or a swallowed piece that will not pass, call your veterinarian or an emergency clinic right away instead of using this site.
Accuracy and changes
We check data on the dates stated on each page, but manufacturers change recipes, sizes and claims, and the VOHC list is updated by VOHC. Manufacturers and VOHC are the authority for their own products; where this site differs from them, they are right. We cannot promise that every page is complete or current. If you find an error, email hello@dentaldogtreats.com or use the contact page. Our approach is described in the methodology.
Affiliate links
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Every link to Amazon on this site is an affiliate link; see the affiliate disclosure. Amazon is the only store we link to. A purchase happens on Amazon, under Amazon's terms and policies, not ours. We do not control Amazon's prices, availability, shipping or returns, and we do not show prices on this site.
Third-party links
Pages link to manufacturers, VOHC and research sources. These links are references, not endorsements. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content.
Calculators and tools
The calorie calculator and the cost tool run in your browser and give estimates for information only. Results depend on what you type and on published data that may change. They do not replace your veterinarian's advice on your dog's weight, feeding or treats.
Intellectual property
The text, tables, logo, icons and images on this site are ours. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the page, but please do not republish whole pages. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products. VOHC is a registered certification mark of its owner, and we are not affiliated with VOHC.
Acceptable use
Please do not scrape the site in a way that harms it or slows it down, try to break or probe its security, or use it for anything unlawful or misleading. We may block traffic that does this.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, DentalDogTreats.com and its editorial team are not liable for any loss or harm, including harm to a pet, arising from your use of the site, from products you buy, or from third-party sites. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow us to limit.
Privacy
How we handle data, including Cloudflare and Amazon cookies, is described in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date shown on this page, and continued use means you accept it. Last updated: October 14, 2026.
