Short answer
Email the DentalDogTreats editorial team at [email protected] to report a factual error, suggest a chew to cover, or ask about privacy or how we earn money. We reply when we can. We are not a veterinary service and cannot give advice about your dog.
Every message reaches the editorial team. We go through every message and reply when we can, but we cannot promise a response time. The site has no contact form, so email is the only way to reach us.
What we can help with
- Factual corrections. If a calorie figure, weight range, ingredient or VOHC status looks wrong, send the page address, the claim and a link to the source if you have one. We check the primary source and fix the page if it is wrong.
- Product suggestions. Tell us about a dental chew we have not covered. We add products when the manufacturer publishes enough data to fill in the facts we compare; see the methodology.
- Tool feedback. If the cost calculator shows an unexpected result, tell us what you typed in.
- Privacy requests. See the privacy policy; we respond within 30 days.
- Questions about how we earn money. See the affiliate disclosure first, then write to us.
We are not a veterinary service. We cannot diagnose dental problems, recommend treatment for existing dental disease or replace your veterinarian's advice. If your dog has dental pain, broken teeth, bleeding gums or bad breath that does not improve, contact a licensed veterinarian directly.
How to write a useful correction
The fastest corrections come with three things: the address of the page, the exact number or sentence you think is wrong, and the page where the manufacturer or VOHC publishes the correct value. We compare what you send with the primary source, not with another website, because our pages only repeat what the primary source says. When the source confirms the change, we update the page and its "Last checked" date. When it does not, we reply and explain which source we used and when we checked it. Serious corrections are also recorded in the changelog on the methodology page. Who writes the pages is on the about page.
What we do not do by email
We do not take payment for placement, and offers of free products or sponsored mentions will not change what the site says. We do not test products on dogs, so we cannot answer questions about how a chew performed for a particular dog. If you represent a manufacturer, you are welcome to send us a link to a page that publishes corrected product data.
