Short answer
DentalDogTreats.com adds no analytics or advertising scripts and sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare delivers the site and may process IP addresses and add scripts or strictly necessary security cookies (for example for bot checks), and Amazon sets cookies if you click through to it. Who we are
DentalDogTreats.com is an independent content site about dental chews for dogs, run by the DentalDogTreats editorial team. We are not affiliated with any pet product manufacturer. Contact for any privacy question: hello@dentaldogtreats.com.
What data is collected
- Analytics: we don't add analytics or advertising scripts. Cloudflare, our CDN and security provider, may add scripts or cookies needed for security and performance (for example bot checks); see the Cloudflare section. Our own pages load no fonts or images from third parties. If that changes, we will describe the new tool on this page before it goes live.
- Server logs: like most websites, the server records the IP address, the page requested, the time and the browser type of each request. We use these records to keep the site secure and fix technical problems, not to identify individual readers, and we keep them only as long as needed for those purposes.
- Email: if you email us, we keep the message and your address to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share it.
- Forms: the site has no forms, comments or accounts.
Cloudflare
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, a content delivery and security provider. Your requests therefore pass through Cloudflare's network, and Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and request details to deliver pages, protect the site and block abusive or automated traffic. Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes; its public documentation describes cookies such as __cf_bm, which supports bot detection and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and says Cloudflare does not use it to track users from site to site or from session to session. We do not control which of these cookies Cloudflare sets for a given visit. See Cloudflare's own privacy policy and its cookie documentation.
Amazon links and cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. When you click a link to Amazon, amazon.com can set cookies on your device under Amazon's privacy notice, so that Amazon can tell that the visit came from us. We receive commission reports from Amazon that contain order totals and items, not your name, address or payment details. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and in your Amazon account. Other sites
Pages link to VOHC, manufacturers and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us what correspondence we hold from you and ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over personal data, such as access or deletion. Email hello@dentaldogtreats.com and we will respond within 30 days. The site is not directed at children.
