Short answer
Cost per day is the pack price divided by the number of chews in the pack, times the number of chews your dog gets each day. Type your own pack price and count below. This page shows no prices of its own, keeps nothing you type and works out one or two packs side by side.
Work out the cost per day
cost per chew = pack price / chews in pack | cost per day = cost per chew x chews per day | 30 days = cost per day x 30 | year = cost per day x 365
Reading the result
Read the pack price and the chew count from the page of the product you are looking at, and use the count for the exact size your dog needs. Prices change, so the result is only as current as the number you typed. We do not copy store prices into this page and we do not store what you enter.
Most dental chew makers give a guideline of one chew a day, so "1" is entered as the default for chews per day. Change it if your veterinarian advises a different schedule. A lower cost per day does not make a chew a better choice: size for your dog's weight, VOHC status and calories matter first. Check the daily calorie share in the dental chew calorie calculator, look up VOHC status on the VOHC accepted list, and see how we pick lines on best dental chews.
